Prior to the Xtreme Broncs in Winnemucca on New Years Eve, youngsters from northern Nevada got a crash course on saddle bronc riding on Dec. 30 at the Winnemucca Events Center. Mitch Pollock and Kade Bruno, who competed in the 2022 NFR in saddle bronc, helped junior high and high school saddle bronc hopefuls on how to ride the broncs. A bucking machine was brought for the young riders to use.
