After almost 25 years of use, the Lowry High School football field will be getting a new look with a brand new scoreboard that will feature LED lighting.

The scoreboard that was taken down late last month has been in use since 1997. Parts of the scoreboard had become inoperable and finding replacement bulbs for it were no longer an option.

The new scoreboard is set to be installed next week, in time for fall sports (if football is allowed to play). It is also possible that soccer will play games on the field, with the addition of a camera so fans can watch on line, during the Covid-19 restrictions.
