The 2021-22 high school sports season comes to an end this weekend with the spring sports state championships.

The NIAA State Track and Field Championships will take place Friday at 3 p.m. and Saturday at 8 a.m. at Reed High School in Sparks. 

The NIAA State Swimming Championships will be at UNLV in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The NIAA 2A and 3A boys golf state championships took place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in southern Nevada. 

Results were not available at press time.

The NIAA 3A State Baseball Championships start Thursday at Fernley High School. Truckee takes on Moapa Valley at 1 p.m. and Virgin Valley plays Dayton at 4 p.m. The tournament continues at 10 a.m. on Friday and the championship is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The 1A tournament is at Damonte Ranch High School in Reno, also beginning on Thursday. Virginia City meets Pahranagat Valley at 1 p.m. and Indian Springs plays Smith Valley at 4 p.m. 

Action resumes at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday and the championship is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The 2A tournament will take place at Las Vegas Ballpark, College of Southern Nevada and Bishop Gorman High School. 

The Meadows and West Wendover play at 3 p.m. on Thursday and Yerington and Lake Mead play at 6 p.m. 

Action resumes at 10 a.m. on Friday and the championship is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday at Bishop Gorman.      

The NIAA 3A State Softball Championships start Thursday at Fernley High School. Fernley takes on Boulder City at 2 p.m. and Virgin Valley plays North Valleys at 4 p.m. 

The tournament continues at 11 a.m. on Friday and the championship is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The 1A tournaments is at Damonte Ranch High School in Reno, beginning on Thursday. 

Wells faces Tonopah at 2 p.m. and Pahranagat Valley plays Colville, Calif. at 4:30 p.m. 

Action resumes at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Friday and the championship is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The 2A tournament will take place at Bishop Gorman High School and College of Southern Nevada. Needles, Calif., and Pershing County play at 10 a.m. on Thursday and Yerington and 

The Meadows play at 12:15 p.m. Action resumes at 11 a.m. on Friday and the championship is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday at Bishop Gorman.
