The Battle Mountain High School softball team took to the field for the first time this year with a preseason tournament in Lovelock. The Lady Longhorns got a handful of games in during the cold and windy weekend. Battle Mountain ravels to Silver Springs on Friday, March 17, for a doubleheader with Silver Stage beginning at 2 p.m. 

The series concludes on Saturday, March 18, at 10 a.m.
