It was a busy weekend at the Good Times Drag Strip off Jungo Road with two days of racing. Friday night featured a test and tune and Jackpot race. Saturday was a doubleheader day for the junior dragsters, pro division and sportsman/street division. The King of the Hill bracket capped off the weekend of racing. Orovada’s Don Mertens won the King of the Hill and Hal Lockett was second. Mertens also won the Sportsman class and Fausto Banuelos was second. Lockett won the Pro class and Darrel Cramer was the runner-up. In the Jackpot race, Jason Arrien claimed the top spot and Mike Dodd was second.
