Imagination, creativity, and hard work paid off for 4-H’ers who entered in the Tri-County Fair as ribbons of mostly green, purple, blue, with only a few red were received. 

Fourteen Pershing County 4-H youth with thirty-two entries participated in the exhibit held in Winnemucca Nevada on September fourth through the sixth.

Hi Point Senior 4-H Exhibitor went to Annie Uhart who received the Mayor’s Award including a certificate, green and white rosette, and a $50 Chamber Check.  

Uhart’s entries included educational displays, coasters, a painting, photographs, and a wind chime.

Two 4-H Supreme Sewer members received Grand Champion purple rosettes for their exemplary work - Abigail Perez with her educational display on Jelly Bean Faces (which are pillows), and Mollee Houston’s baby quilt that she made for her new sister. 

Sugeilly Valtierra’s educational board on needles, Annie Uhart’s silhouette painting done during Community Club as well as 4-H Cloverbuds Jaxen and Nora Minor’s sewing entries all received purple ribbons.  

All exhibitors should be proud of their work and dedication.
