For the past seven years, the Lazy P Adventure Farm has prided itself in offering our community a place to enjoy wholesome, farm-related family activities.

The Petersen family with assistance from our numerous volunteers, sponsors and vendors have worked hard over the years to build a fun venue with exciting exhibits and a place to learn about agriculture.

These activities include the Fall Farm Festival, Haunted House, Farm Baby Days, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, and numerous school field trips.

The Fall Farm Festival, normally conducted every weekend in October, features Nevada’s largest corn maze, the u-pick pumpkin patch, a farm animal petting zoo, haunted house and many fun, educational, interactive activities. We proudly host over 8,000 people each year. Many families and volunteers have participated since we opened. We appreciate all of the camaraderie over the years, as well as, the community’s support.

Our family has truly enjoyed putting the smiles on the faces of so many children.

We our honored to be part of making memories for so many families across Northern Nevada.

With the arrival of the Covid Pandemic earlier this year, we felt it necessary to cancel our spring events, the Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and our Farm Baby Days.

We were hopeful that these circumstances would improve by October and not affect the Fall Farm Festival.   Unfortunately, due to the current mandates, we regret that we have no choice but to cancel the 2020 Fall Farm Festival.

The Lazy P Farm will continue to rent out our facilities for small gatherings and continue with off-site table and chair rentals. We join with all of you in the hope that this trying time will soon be behind us.

The Petersen family will miss each of you and look forward to seeing you again this spring for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny.

Thank you for your continued support.
