Come see local talent and the handmade creations of our 4-H youth members at the Pershing County Community Center located at 820 6th Street on August 6-7.

Pershing County 4-H will be hosting an exhibit for all members of the community to either enter items or view the displays.

Guides for categories as well as entries can be obtained at the Pershing County Extension Office with an entry costs of $10 for each item. 

There is not a cost for 4-H youth members. This event should be entertainment for all. Exhibit viewing with categories including but not limited to crafts, foods, fine arts, floriculture, photography, quilting, sewing, and educational displays will be available from noon to 4 p.m. August 6-7.

4-H supporters are invited to join in an appreciation dinner with RSVP on August 5 at 5 p.m. The dinner will consist of BBQ brisket, cow-belle potatoes, beans, salad, roll, and cookies.

On Aug. 6 there will be an action-packed day for 4-H with the Hot Air Balloon Club providing a ride for the Thompson Family at the Mc Dougal field at 6 a.m.

Fundraisers will include a fashion show by the 4-H Supreme Sewers at 10 a.m., which will encompass brunch for a cost of $20. Followed by “Appetizers and Art,” which will be at 5 p.m. with a cost of $10 a person. 

All events will be held at the Pershing County Community Center.
