Legal No 28339 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals for The 2020 RAILROAD SPRING PIPELINE PROJECT will be received by the City of Winnemucca at the City Engineer's Office, City Hall, 90 West Fourth Street, Winnemucca, Nevada, until 3:00 PM local time on Tuesday DECEMBER 4, 2020. Such sealed bids as are received will be publicly opened and read at that time. It is anticipated that the Winnemucca City Council will consider award of the Contract at their next regularly scheduled meeting. Said proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the contract documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the work shall include: construction of 6600LF OF A 4" HDPE WATER PIPELINE, installation of two 4" GATE VALVES, one 4" BUTTERFLY VALVE, and six 1" COMBINATION AIR VALVES, and all other work described in the specifications and shown on the plans. Prevailing wage rates for the Northern Nevada area shall be paid to all classifications of labor as required by the laws of the State of Nevada. Contract documents may be obtained at the office of the City Engineer located at City Hall in Winnemucca at no charge. Only those bidders who have obtained the contract documents directly from the City and appear on the planholder list may submit a bid. All proposals must be submitted on the City of Winnemucca proposal form provided in the Contract Documents, and must be accompanied by a bid bond, a certified check, a cashier's check, or cash in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid.
