Kenneth and Billie moved a lot in their first few years of marriage but ended up back in Ukiah where David was born in 1955.

In 1956 they then moved to Tacoma, WA and lived there for six years where both Charlotte and Paul were born.

Billie and Kenneth moved to Squaw Valley Ranch outside of Winnemucca, NV in 1963 and worked for the different Ellison Ranches for the next 20 plus years.

Billie worked as the cook at various times while they lived on the different ranches, but she took time off when needed, including when Jim was born in 1966 so she could take care of her family.

Billie and Ken moved many times during their marriage, living in California, Washington, and Nevada, but the ranch was always their favorite place.

Billie loved to have the kids and grandkids visit no matter where they lived because she loved to cook and entertain everyone.

Billie was either “Grandma” or “GiGi” to anyone she met.  She loved well and it showed by how much she enjoyed being around her family and friends.

Some of her favorite pastimes were showing others how to cook, baking, playing cards, gardening, camping, and of course fishing.

She took pride in the fact that she baked all of her granddaughter’s delicious wedding cakes none of which were similar in any way.

Billie was proceeded in death by her husband Kenneth William Kerr, her son, David Eugene Kerr, her father, Eugene Miller, her mother, Anna Bell Miller, and both her sisters Ruth Elizabeth Balls and Betty Lou Ewing.

She is survived by, David’s wife, Sandy Kerr, her daughter Charlotte (Walter) Meckley, her two remaining sons Paul (Colleen) Kerr and Jim (Patty) Kerr.

She also had 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild all of which she loved to brag about.

This does not include the many nieces and nephews that she loved like children, which are too many to list.
